The Kyoto Prefectural Tea Chamber is a public interest corporation whose members are Uji tea producers' organizations (Kyoto Prefectural Tea Producers Council) and a business cooperative (Kyoto Prefectural Tea Cooperative) made up of distributors. In order to promote the healthy development of Kyoto Prefecture through a stable supply of Uji tea and the inheritance and preservation of Uji tea culture, the Chamber carries out various projects such as promoting consumer understanding of Uji tea culture, preserving traditional techniques related to Uji tea, measures to improve the quality of Uji tea, promoting Uji tea, and supporting the promotion of Uji tea.
This organization's members are tea producers' associations and agricultural cooperatives organized by tea farmers in Kyoto Prefecture. Through activities such as hosting the Kyoto Prefecture Tea and Tea Farm Competition, the organization aims to promote the tea industry in Kyoto Prefecture, as well as to contribute to strengthening production and improving the lives of its members.
This is an association of tea distribution and processing companies in Kyoto Prefecture. We promote the spread of tea, store tea owned by members in a refrigerated warehouse, sell Kyoto Uji Gyokuro Gyokuto and Uji tea in plastic bottles, maintain matcha mills, and do trademark business.
