The Uji Tea Brand New Development Project Council was established in 2017 with the aim of promoting efforts to newly develop the Uji tea brand through public-private cooperation and smoothly planning and implementing various initiatives.
In order to promote the future consumption of Uji tea in Kyoto Prefecture, we are working to popularize Uji tea by promoting new ways to drink it to general consumers, foreigners, and restaurant operators, in response to the lack of opportunities to drink Uji tea at a cost when dining out.
