The Kyoto Prefectural Tea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Public Interest Incorporated Association) believes that it is our important social responsibility to properly protect the personal information of our customers and all those connected to our organization, and will thoroughly protect, manage, operate, and use personal information in accordance with the following policies.
2. Thorough and proper information management
We will appoint a personal information manager and take appropriate preventive and corrective measures against the unauthorized use, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information. We will also provide education and training to all employees on "handling personal information" and strive to manage it appropriately. Furthermore, we will treat corporate information in the same way as personal information and manage it accordingly.
4. Use within the scope of the purpose of collection
We will not use, provide, or deposit personal information beyond the scope of the purpose for which it was collected with the consent of the individual or their guardian, or beyond the scope of requirements based on laws, regulations, or rules.
5. Restrictions on and management of use
We will keep the personal information we hold confidential and manage it appropriately so as not to handle it beyond the scope of the purpose of collection that was agreed upon or the scope of requirements based on laws and regulations. When personal information is exchanged with outside parties based on the scope of the purpose of collection that was agreed upon, it will be managed by the Kyoto Prefectural Tea Industry Association to ensure that it is handled under strict management.
6. Continuous improvement
In order to properly manage personal information, we will keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and information technology, constantly review our management mechanisms, and make continuous improvements.
